ConX Measure: Feature Update

May 23 2019   04 PM

You probably logged into ConX last night or this morning and noticed something a little bit different about us….

or maybe you haven’t yet tried us out, if that’s the case you’ve got to see this...

We made some changes. Firstly, thanks to everyone for their great honest feedback, from this we’ve made many improvements to the tool that we hope you love!

One of the major changes, is that we’ve maximised the canvas size, giving you guys the most space to measure as possible. Here’s the changes we made.

Collapsable Measurement Box

We’re now giving users the ability to open and hide the box where measurements are stored, meaning when you’re frantically measuring you can keep the box out of your way. Again it’s another way to give you as much space as possible to measure with.

Page Selector has moved

If you’re looking to change pages, this has now moved from the bottom of your screen to the left hand side. Remember that for each page you can set the scale, and your measurements are stored on each individual page.

Count Function

Electricians and plumbers, this one is going to be an absolute lifesaver for you guys. Simply select the tool, name the item, select the colour and you are ready to count.

Simply click on each item you wish to count and it will automatically count the number of items, even if you wish to click thousands of things, we’ll count it. Also once you export your measurements to a PDF or Excel/CSV file, all the ‘outlets’ across each page of your plans will be calculated for you. Which brings me to another one of the new major features.

Marked-up PDFs

Once you’ve completed and named all of you measurements, you’re now able to download a marked up set of plans as a PDFs which includes a legend box showing all measurements.

You can use this PDF to send as part of a quote, send it to suppliers, or even keep it on file for use on the jobsite.

So there it is, the new and improved ConX Measure. Remember you can use the basic version of the tool for free to see if works for you, to save time quoting and estimating. If you love it, a subscription is just $30AUD per month, giving you unlimited access to the tool.

If you haven't tried the tool yet, or just want to log back into your profile head here:
